INSURANCE INFORMATION FOR BCUA

There are two facets of the insurance program that are applicable to our association; one, as it relates to the organization as a whole and to its officers and executive committee members; and second, as it relates to each individual member.

The association as a whole currently has in force officers’ and directors’ (D&O) liability insurance that provides protection for lawsuits against the officers and executive committee members for actual or alleged wrongful acts and errors and omissions.  This policy also provides coverage for suits brought against the association as an entity.  This policy does not provide coverage for lawsuits involving bodily injury or property damage.
